LICENSED VETERINARY TECHICIAN
We are a three doctor veterinary clinic seeking a friendly, compassionate, and motivated full-time Licensed Veterinarian Technician to join our team. Our services range from routine canine/feline preventative care exams to soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. We offer complete in-house laboratory testing, digital x-ray, state-of-the-art ultrasound, echo-cardio ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and much more.
We strive to offer our clients the best possible care and service and are looking for that individual who can positively contribute through excellent customer service and communication skills. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to effectively handle a wide range of responsibilities.
Experience as a veterinary technician must include knowledge of: basic healthcare for companion animals, laboratory procedures, radiology procedures, pharmacology, hospital sanitation, client education, dental cleaning procedures, intravenous catheter placement, surgery pre and post-operative patient care, ability to calculate and dispense medication dosages and prepare instructions for clients and knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, and surgical procedures.
