Started in 1963, Cozad Alfalfa produces dehydrated alfalfa pellets. Alfalfa pellets are an important animal feed ingredient used by the feed industry to provide food for companion animals as well as livestock, Year in and year out, Cozad Alfalfa produces 6,000 tons of pellets during the growing season of mid-May through October. We have always prided ourselves on providing a safe working environment while producing a wholesome and nutritious animal feed ingredient.
From the windrowing in the field, to chopping and transporting the alfalfa to the feed mill, and actual mill production of the final product, the staff has an integral contribution in making the very best product possible.
Successful applicants would have the opportunity to be part of the Nebraska Grain and Feed Association. Better ideas, greater knowledge and improved working methods are always welcome.
