The Aggie Class of 2022 will assemble 76 graduates Thursday at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

Associate degrees and 1-year certificates will be conferred by University of Nebraska Vice President Mike Boehm.

He will be joined by University of Nebraska Regent Bob Phares and NCTA Dean Larry Gossen.

Nebraska 3rd District Congressman Adrian Smith will deliver the Commencement address to graduates of two-year programs in Agribusiness Management Systems, Agricultural Production Systems or Veterinary Technology Systems.

Due to rain in the forecast, the planned outdoor ceremony will now be at the Curtis Memorial Community Center, 201 Garlick Avenue, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

“We invite the public to join Congressman Smith, university leaders, and the NCTA faculty and staff in honoring the Class of 2022,” said Dean Gossen.

A reception immediately follows at the Community Center.

On Wednesday, public events include the induction ceremony for new members to the Phi Theta Kappa honor society at 1 p.m. and the NCTA Awards Program at 7 p.m.  Both events are in the auditorium of the Nebraska Agriculture Industry Education Center.
