LINCOLN, Neb. – The long road to Lincoln was worth the drive for a pair of collegiate team ropers from Curtis, Nebraska last weekend.

Cash Talamantez of Lisco and Ty Hermelbracht of Rosalie are athletes with the Aggie Rodeo Team at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis.

After competing in slack on Friday afternoon, the pair headed into the final round Saturday night at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Rodeo and finished 10th overall.

Next rodeo action for the Aggies is this weekend at Hastings College.  NCTA is one of 13 teams in the Great Plains Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.

Taylor Rossenbach, NCTA rodeo coach, said the Aggies will end their 2017-2018 regular season May 3-4 at Spearfish, S.D. and May 5-6 at Dickinson, N.D.
