CURTIS Neb - The Aggies Shooting Sports Team will host a season finale Saturday at the Curtis Gun Club with their “Bacon Trap Shoot.”

Student members with the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture look forward to the community event, said Angela Crouse of Haigler, Aggie Shooting Sports Team president.

“We invite anyone who is interested to come out to the Curtis Gun Club and see the improvements made to the range and facilities, along with having some enjoyable competition with shooting trap,” Crouse said.

Coach Alan Taylor and team members coordinate the match from 1-4 p.m.

“A huge thank you to all who support the Aggies, and particularly to the City of Curtis for use of the facilities,” Taylor said.

Winners of each round will win a package of bacon donated by Laird Feeds of Gothenburg.

Contestants can enter as often as they wish for a fee of $6 for 25 targets.

Proceeds help the team with purchasing supplies, targets and team travel.  Their next competition will be in the Spring.
