CURTIS, Neb. – Out of laundry detergent? A bit short on grocery money during the final two weeks of school? Tight budget before graduation and needing study supplies for finals?

Sharing with friends in need has been a campus service this semester through “The Cupboard” in the agribusiness department at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

NCTA Agribusiness Club members Haley Farr of Cambridge and Christine Land of Glenvil appreciate donations of products, along with monetary contributions to a room stocking supplies for college students.

Farr and Land know how tight budgets are stretched and that unexpected expenses can cause extra stress for students at the end of each month, especially now with final exams beginning April 26th.

The Cupboard’s shelves hold a limited supply of non-perishable food items, household and hygiene supplies, and other items NCTA students might need when funds are low. No applications or forms are necessary. It operates on an honor system.

The Cupboard is located on third floor of Ag Hall, and will continue through the college’s summer session.

For information, contact Farr, Land or Mary Rittenhouse, chair of the Agribusiness Management Systems department.
