NCTA to host Trent Loos, ag advocate

CURTIS, Neb. – Agricultural issues and advocacy for Nebraska livestock production will be center stage on Thursday, March 14 at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

Trent Loos is a radio commentator, agricultural producer who farms with his family near Hazard, Nebraska, and a spokesman for a variety of issues and platforms in national and global food production.

He will give a public presentation for Aggie students, farmers, ranchers and others wanting to learn more about advocacy on behalf of the agriculture industry.

A meal will be served with the program sponsored by the NCTA Collegiate Cattlemen and Animal Science department.

The meal begins at 6:30 p.m. in the “The Barn” which is the NCTA Student Union on campus, said Meredith Cable, assistant professor of animal science and faculty advisor for the NCTA Collegiate Cattlemen.

Parking can be east of the Student Union or in the lot directly south, which is located near Seventh Street and Prentice Avenue.

The cost of the meal is $10 per person, and will be limited to 50 advance registrations.
