A relatively new addition to the NCTA community, Holli Snyder was a quick choice for this week’s NCTA Staff Spotlight.

 

What are your roles and work duties within the Aggie community?

I am the personnel associate here at NCTA and my role is to make the hiring process as painless as possible.  I work with managers to understand which roles need to be filled and then assist in getting the new employee placed.  I work with the new employee throughout the hiring process to ensure their placement is successful. I am still a fairly new employee, so I am looking forward to learning how I can continue to add human resource and payroll support wherever it is needed.

When did you begin at NU or NCTA?

My first day was February 14, 2019 (at the West Central Research & Extension Center, North Platte)

When and where was your previous employment in education?

Prior to coming to NCTA/WCREC, I spent 16 years working as the Business and Human Resource Manager at the North Platte Telegraph. 

Share a hobby or activity that you enjoy in your free time.

I wouldn’t necessarily call it a “hobby,” more of a “passion”, but I run a wellness community on Facebook called Living Canary Clean.  I truly love helping gals learn tips and tricks on living just a little bit healthier.
