What are your plans after college?

After NCTA, I plan on going to the University of Wyoming or the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to receive my bachelor’s degree. Hopefully, I will then find a job in the beef industry and start building my own ranch.

What organizations, clubs, and teams are you involved with at NCTA?

I am involved in Collegiate Cattlemen and am also a member of the NCTA Livestock Judging Team. As a Student Ambassador, I assist with giving campus tours and helping with events such as Discovery Days.

What did you want to be when you were 10 years old?

When I was 10 years old, I wanted to be a cowboy and have lots of horses and cows.

What is your proudest moment? Either in life or at NCTA.

My proudest moment was when I took my one-year-old sister, Emma, on a ride to check cattle on my two-year-old colt that I broke by myself.

Do you have a favorite quote or piece of life advice that you live by?

My favorite quote or advice is "You only have one shot at life, make the best of it and enjoy every step.”
