Campus residence halls at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis have a team of familiar faces guiding student life for the 2017-2018 school year.

A team of 12 students in their second or third year at NCTA are serving as resident assistants in three residence halls on campus, said Jennifer McConville, NCTA associate dean.

“We have an outstanding group of student leaders at NCTA,” McConville said.  “They are enthusiastic, responsible individuals who set the pace and tone each day for a successful college experience at NCTA.”

The RA team includes Lindse Painter, Valentine; Alyssa Novak, Aurora; Riley Abbott and Nate Letcher, both of Hay Springs; Logan VanAnne, Gering; Chandler Ritchie, Sargent; Sadie Christensen, Arnold; Courtney Allen, Valley; Kallie Hilker, Cambridge; Katherine Allen, Nebraska City; Katharine Schudel; North Loup; and Will Kusant, Comstock.

NCTA is in its second week of classes. As RA’s, the students live in the residence halls and serve as campus employees while leading residence life programs and supervising housing for 156 on-campus residents. They are led by Resident Life Manager Ryan Bauman.

Freshmen students participated in New Student Orientation activities from Aug. 18 to Aug. 25.
