Pocket pets, turtles, cats, dogs and more will be a part of Critter Camp at Curtis.

Youngsters 7 to 10 years of age can attend Critter Camp on Friday, June 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Youth can spend the day learning about animals in the Veterinary Technology program at the University of Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

Vet Tech students in summer session will share what is like to work with animals in a veterinary clinic and the different jobs that people have in working with cats, dogs, small pets, birds, exotics and more.

“Enjoy the games and crafts at Critter Camp while learning about the unique animals we have and the special care that goes into keeping them.”

Registration of $15 covers craft supplies and lunch. Register online at https://go.unl.edu/critter-camp.

The program is sponsored by Nebraska Extension-Frontier County and the NCTA Veterinary Technology Department.

For more information, call the Extension Office at 308-367-4424.
