Job Description/Duties
PHYTECH is a leading AgTech company that helps growers improve irrigation efficiency, enhance crops quality, and improve yields. Our services are based on proprietary sensors that are installed in the field and presented to the growers in a simple and intuitive way. This helps growers make better decisions and improve their growing practice.
The intern will primarily be responsible for performing field installations, in-season repairs, and providing technical support. The majority of the work will be completed on center pivots and directly to the plant.
During the term of the internship, the candidate will be exposed to fieldwork, customer support and service, growing practices, and new precision agriculture technologies. To learn more about Phytech, please visit us at www.phytech.com.
Qualifications or Skills Required
- Motivation, commitment, and dedication
- Ability to work independently
- Problem-solving skills
- Great attitude to customers (growers)
- Good technological sense
- Ability to work outside in potentially adverse field settings (sun, heat, wind, etc.)
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends during peak times
Salary & Benefits
Hourly pay and company vehicle provided. The anticipated term of the internship is May 2020 – August 2020.
