NCTA Graduation Thursday at Curtis Community Center
By NCTA News
Graduates in agriculture all want what’s best for Nebraska, and that means the new class motto may be “Let It Rain” with the class song, “Singing in the Rain!”
The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture will have its graduation activities on Thursday at the Curtis Memorial Community Center, 201 Garlick Avenue.
NCTA Dean Larry Gossen said the change in venue from the campus football field is due to inclement weather forecasts for May 5th. Commencement is at 1:30 p.m., with the public reception immediately after.
Guests are welcome to the Aggie Dining buffett on campus for Thursday lunch from 11:30 to 1 p.m. The fee is $7.99 per person (which includes tax).
On Wednesday, public events include the induction ceremony for new members to the Phi Theta Kappa honor society at 1 p.m. and the NCTA Awards Program at 7 p.m.
Both Wednesday events are in the auditorium of the Nebraska Agriculture Industry Education Center.
