Position:
Wearparts Tillage Tools is now accepting applications for a Plasma Table Operator with a positive attitude to join our team. This position would require the use of CNC plasma tables and other automated welding equipment. This position involves the use of potentially dangerous equipment; it is important health and safety requirements are met and ensure responsibility is taken for the security of the warehouse and stock.
Primary Duties:
Read drawings, and take measurements to plan layout and procedure
Accurately measure bolt patterns, axle diameters and blade dimensions
Operate a CNC Plasma Cutter and be able to input bolt patterns into its system
Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various position
Safely operate forklift and pallet jack
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Ensure safe operation of the warehouse including meeting standards for sanitation, maintenance, security and housekeeping
Other duties as required and assigned
Experience with welding
Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
Experience using electrical and manual tools
Diagnose and repair machines as needed
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Positive “can-do” attitude
Knowledge of relative safety standards
Knowledge of operations procedures (palleting, plasma operation, proper forklift maneuvers, etc.)
