Do what you love. Love what you do.

With summer days in the sun, inspiring others, archery, personal growth, climbing a 50' tower, and being a professional role model as workplace norms, what's not to love about being an Overnight Summer Camp Counselor?

If you like working outdoors and being a positive role model for youth, Summer Camp Counselor positions are excellent opportunities to develop hands on skills in leadership, collaboration, and customer service that can help prepare you for any career.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Living in a cabin with and lending leadership and guidance to a cabin group.
-Providing leadership to educational and enrichment activities by planning, implementing and supervising curriculum and programs.
-Interacting and supervising youth and providing role modeling and mentoring through participation in activities and positive discussions.
-Communicating with parents/guardians to discuss achievements and concerns.

We offer both staff and lead/supervisory roles as counselors, wranglers, life guards, challenge course facilitators, health specialists, and cooks.

Applicants will be considered for all roles and opportunities will be further discussed during the interview process.

This is a live-in summer position requiring extended hours on duty.

We require all staff be CPR Certified, and will provide training to hired staff before our summer season begins.

In addition to summer camp counselors we are also seeking knowledgeable staff to work with our equestrian program. This summer we will have 20 horses on site, and are on the search for experienced individuals to teach group riding lessons, inform campers on general horsemanship, and provide care to our herd. Experience working with, riding, and caring for horses is needed in order to pursue this position.

We provide additional training for our equestrian program, site-specific certification for our high-ropes and climbing programs, and Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification to those interested who will be able to meet the needs of those programs.

Staff are paid on a weekly salary of $500 per week, with opportunity for additional pay per certification, position, and years of experience, as well as financial incentives for completion of weeks during the summer.

Since this is a live-in position, we provide housing and food for staff when programs are operating. During the summer staff are welcome to stay on-site during their time off to reduce travel and lodging costs.
