Pen Rider/Feed Yard Hand - Possible Head Cowboy training for right candidate

This is a pen riding/feedyard hand position at our Eagle Ridge/Dinklage Locations.
Riding Pens, identifying sick cattle, diagnosing and treating cattle, processing cattle, pen maintenance and cleaning, and equipment operating and any other duties required for feedyard operations.
This is not specifically a horseback position and will require other duties pertaining to the operation of the feedyard.
This position has upward mobility into a team leader or head cowboy position for the right candidate after proper experience and training.
Applicant must be a self starter and able to work on a team or alone.
Must be able to multi-task and change tasks quickly and efficiently.
Bi-Lingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
Must be able to use a computer for record keeping and animal tracking.
Must be able to handle cattle quietly and calmly.
Must be able to follow protocols outlined by our consulting veterinarian.
Experience operating and maintaining equipment or be able to be trained.
Good communication skills verbally and written.
Horsemanship can be trained - horses and tack provided.
