I was born and raised in Utah. After graduating from USU, I operated the family cattle operation in Southern Utah until moving to Nebraska in 1998. I worked in the feed industry while I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to obtain my Masters Degree. I have been with Purina Animal Nutrition since 2005. I started teaching at NCTA in 2007. I became a coach of the NCTA shooting sports team when the team began in 2013.

My advice to students: No one knows what the future holds; Be prepared for change.
