General farmhand/Ranch hand duties. Would help calve 350 cows and 50 head of heifers in February and March and calve 80 head of Fall cows in September and October. Fixing and building fence as need as well as checking cattle and putting mineral out for them through the summer. Farm hand duties are as follow but not limited to, Swathing, raking and baling hay on alfalfa and feed ground. Planting and harvesting of 5000 acres of small grain and row crops. Driving Semi on farm bin site and haul bales from field to stack yard. All forms of farming uses documentation on field work via display in tractor. Can start anytime and looking for full time but will look at part time and internships
Willing to learn or have knowledge of farm work and cattle work. Driver`s license is required cdl not required but can help get class A license. Knowledge or willingness to learn electronics for GPS and Documentation in tractors. Must have drive to work
Starting pay is 12.50. but pay is based on performance and experience. Benefits include health and dental insurance, uniforms for full time and after 2 months of employment, housing if staying on farm, and half a beef a year. Open to other ideas if the fit is right
