FOCUS
• Manage daily operations and staffing of retail store.
• Manage retail product lines including selection, purchasing, pricing, and sales.
• Provide sales and technical support to customers for all retail product lines offered including aid in product comparison and
selections, product use rate and timing, seed planting, establishment and harvest recommendations and product failure
troubleshooting.
• Maintain relationships with key suppliers.
• Write estimates, quotes and bids for prospective customers and/or jobs.
• Attend industry related state and regional meetings, trade shows and conferences.
• Attend continuing education training opportunities and seminars.
• Organize and present product related training and education to Arrow Seed employees, customers prospects, and influencers.
• Maintain up to date customer and product information in business software.
RETAILPRODUCT LINES
• Products represented include but are not limited to farm seed including alfalfa and forage legumes, pasture grass, small grain, summer annual forage, garden seed and turf seed; lawn and garden products; lawn fertilizer; electric fencing; rodenticides; food processing products; birdfeed; and greenhouse and nursery stock.
• Retail manager will have latitude to add and remove product lines as demand and opportunity present.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Outgoing, detailed, organized, and self-motivated.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to make use rate and mixing calculations for all types of pesticides and fertilizers.
• Education – 2-year associates degree in Agronomy or Horticulture required, B.S. preferred.
• Ag background required.
• Mechanical skills helpful to repair and maintain seed drills, lawn rental equipment, and power fencing equipment.
• Shall have a current Nebraska Pesticide Applicators license or ability to obtain one.
• Shall have a valid Nebraska driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Salary: $50-$70K Depending on Qualifications and Experience
