A growing and successful Diversified Ag Business near Wilcox, NE is looking for a new Team Member to join their team. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to get their career started with a solid company in the Ag Industry.
Responsibilities:
- The main duties for the Candidate will be to focus on the Pioneer Seed, Encirca Services and Crop Consulting Business. When needed the candidate will be asked to help with Precision Planting and Custom Planter Business.
- Perform soil sampling, making recommendations, crop scouting, and writing field reports weekly. Keep up to date on all agronomy products, technology, etc.
- Attend Encirca , Pioneer Meetings, and conference calls.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and with the team.
- Ability to find what needs to be done without being told every move is a must.
- Ideal candidate will have a degree in agronomy or equivalent years' experience. Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.
- 10+ years Ag background is ideal.

- Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Responsible for projecting a positive image of Robinson Seed LLC, South Central Precision Planting and Planter Worx.
- Planting and Harvesting Test Plots. Walking Plots scoring hybrids thought out the year. Analyzing experimental data.
- Putting up and talking down Field signs and other advertisements.
- Writing newsletters, Bi weekly crop updates, and other communication documents.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Positive team player.
- Ability to work required hours, late nights, and weekends during busy season.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Candidate will be asked to clean shop, wash vehicles, and take out trash and other odd jobs if things are slow.
- Ability to operate Fork lift.
- Computer and Precision Farming equipment skills are a must.
- Duties and responsibilities may be revised as needed by the Manager either verbally and/or in writing.
