Sandhills Ranch Internship & Apprenticeship Program
Job Description
- The Internship is a paid, summer-long, three-month position, ideal for individuals interested in ranching, livestock production and land management. Participants will gain hands-on experience, skills and knowledge that can lead to future opportunities, while building meaningful relations.
The Apprenticeship is a paid nine-month position, running from March 1st to November 30th, designed for individuals who want to deepen their knowledge and skills by strengthening their abilities while gaining an understanding of the seasonal cycles on a working ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills.
Qualifications or Skills Required
Internship - Interested in ranching, livestock production and land management.
Apprenticeship- Designed for individuals who want to deepen their knowledge and skills by strengthening their abilities while gaining an understanding of the seasonal cycles on a working ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills.
Salary and Benefits
Both paid positions offer housing, partial board and additional educational opportunities.
