Ide Seed & Fertilizer seeks a motivated summer intern interested in the relationship between
soil biology, plant chemistry, and ROI. As 2nd and 3rd generation farmers with over 100 years of
combined experience in agribusiness and agricultural retail, we prioritize education, research, and
hands-on experimentation with scientifically-backed products. Partnered with BW-Fusion, QLF,
Agronomy365, Agrigold, and others, we serve 100 Central Minnesota customers. Join us for a
valuable learning experience!
Skills required:
¨ Effective communication with Ide Seed & Fertilizer staff
¨ Ability to track growing degree units and identify stages of corn and soybeans
¨ A basic understanding of soil types
¨ Ability to pass a background check and drug test if needed
¨ An active class C driver’s license and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs
¨ Capable of working 40-50 hours/week between May and the end of August (negotiable)
Position responsibilities:
¨ Tracking and conducting trials for customers and Ide Enterprises
¨ Ordering and delivering products to customers and providing product education
¨ Creating social media posts
¨ Reflect a positive image of Ide Seed & Fertilizer toward customers and partners
¨ Occasionally assist with seed deliveries
¨ Provide written goals
Ide Seed & Fertilizer will provide:
