- Soil Conservationist Student Trainee - as an NRCS soil conservationist you'll work with farmers, ranchers, and other land users. You'll offer onservation planning and technical help to conserve the soil, improve water quantity and quality, manage nutrients, restore wetlands, and protect and improve wildlife habitat. Positions available in Alliance, Alma, Wahoo, McCook, Syracuse, Beatrice, Holdrege NE.
- Range Management Trainee. Range Management Specialist Trainees help plan grazing sstems that improve the quality of forage and other grazing land functions Whether landowners want to use their rangeland to support livestock, wildlife, recreation, or a combination of all of these. You will tailor conservation plans that help landowners and operators meet their goals. Positions available in North Platte and Bridgeport NE.
