Perform venipuncture, catheter placement (urinary and IV), filling prescriptions, maintaining accurate medical records, parasitology exams(fecals/ear cytology), proper restraint techniques, surgical prep and assisting, anesthesia monitoring and induction/maintenance, dental cleanings, radiology, patient recovery, take accurate patient history, compassion and caring for our patients and clients, attend National and/or State CE meetings, and other various tasks.
Certified Veterinary Technician at time of employment or eligible to sit for State of Oklahoma Licensing Exam. Skills as listed above. Employer will train if not all skills are up to par for the right candidate.
Job Type - Full Time, 10 hr shifts, M-F, Rotating weekends and Holidays
Salary - $18- $23/hr (based on experience)
Expected hours - 35-40 hr per week
