Job Description
- Highlands Animal Health is looking for a licensed veterinary technician that is interested in in a position working with exclusively small animals, primarily dogs and cats. We are a small locally owned clinic with 2 veterinarians on staff. We focus on building relationships with our clients and patients and on preventative care and client education. We have great clientele and a smaller town feel in the Highlands and Fallbrook area of Lincoln.
Qualifications or Skills Required
As a vital member of the veterinary team, the LVT's position's duties would include but not be limited to client check in, preparing for and assisting veterinarians in exams, collecting and running lab samples and cytologies, anesthesia, venipuncture, patient handling, medication administration and nursing care, radiology, inventory, communication and follow up with clients, cleaning and some cross training with reception and scheduling.
