Do you have an interest in animal science, livestock, or agricultural science? Are you ready to join a progressive veterinary team? Immediate opportunity available for a full-time Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our multi doctor mixed animal practice (75% food animal/25% companion animal & equine) in south central Nebraska. Alma is located on the west end of Harlan County Reservoir which provides many activities for the outdoor enthusiast. We have excellent facilities, equipment, and support staff. Duties include assisting our veterinarians with cattle preconditioning and processing, fertility exams, artificial insemination, embryo flushing and transfer, reproductive ultrasound, cattle care, freeze branding, companion animal exams, dentistry, and surgeries. A background with livestock handling and processing experience, or a licensed vet technician preferred but not required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work rotating weekends. We will provide training for any individual that is a team player, has a work ethic, and enjoys learning. We have opportunities for you to specialize within our business based on your interests.
