Yankee Hill Veterinary Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska is a privately owned fast paced hospital looking for a skilled, positive, and energetic veterinary technician to join our 6 doctor veterinary team. Typical days worked are Mondays through Fridays and one Saturday a month. Exact weekday hours are to be determined.
Job Overview:
Our Veterinary Technicians are responsible for a variety of tasks related to customer service and patient care within the veterinary practice. Tasks include animal handling, surgical patient care, creating and presenting estimates, accurately entering service charges into the client processing database, extensive client interaction, preparing medications, and maintaining a clean environment.

Qualifications or Skills Required
Our ideal candidate is someone who likes to work hard and strives to provide excellent customer service. Applicants must be:
currently licensed
able to closely monitor patients under anesthesia
proficient in IV catheter placement, blood draws and injections
a team player and have attention to detail
eager to learn and improve
efficient in a fast-pace environment
a clear, effective communicator with clients and co-workers
willing to greet clients and co-workers with a smile and promote a positive environment. Also must have Veterinary Technician Certification/License or in process of Certification Licensing required/ Associate Degree
Salary and Benefits
