Job Description
- Job duties include assisting with the care and handling of dogs and cats, preparing animals for surgery, assisting with various medical procedures and laboratory tests, general clinic cleanup, and interacting with clients. The focus of our practice is to provide exceptional, professional service in an enjoyable work environment. The weekly work schedule typically consists of 4, 10-hour days, with one weekday off. The clinic is open on Saturday mornings with limited staffing that is shared by everyone.
Qualifications or Skills Required
Our support staff is experienced, works hard, and has fun together. We are committed to hiring employees that are dedicated to the team effort, hard workers, good communicators, and have positive personalities. Experience at a veterinary clinic or a veterinary-technician degree is preferred but not required.
Salary and Benefits
Compensation includes a competitive wage commensurate with experience and abilities, holiday pay, vacation pay, continuing education, professional licensing fees, and retirement and health insurance contributions.
