Veterinary Technician/Nurse needed for a busy, mixed animal, two veterinarian practice located in Oberlin, Kansas.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Companion/small animal duties including assisting with office visits, surgeries, post-surgical care, administering prescribed medication, running in-house diagnostics and radiology, performing dental cleanings and kennel care.
- Production/large animal duties include assisting with processing cattle, surgeries, vaccinations and basic animal care.
- Some front desk scheduling, filing, cleaning and phone duties.
- 35+ hour work week with every other Saturday morning
- Current Veterinary Technician/Nurse license or new graduate in the process of obtaining a Kansas license is required.
- Would prefer someone with experience working with both large and small animals but are willing to train.
- Must be detail orientated and enjoy a fast-paced work environment
- Must be personable and enjoy working with and around people. Good customer service skills are required.
- Must be self-motivated, honest, reliable, respectful and a positive minded team player.
