Agricultural Equipment Management Associate Degree

Associate of Applied Science

The Agricultural Equipment Management option of the Agriculture Production Systems degree is a diverse experience in troubleshooting and maintaining agricultural equipment providing the hands-on skills that employers desire.  Students can choose among courses in welding (AWS Certification available), center-pivot maintenance/repair, electrical systems, engine maintenance, and agricultural chemical application.  Additionally, all Agriculture Production Systems Associate of Applied Science degrees include a core of business and management courses tailored to the agriculture industry.

The Agricultural Systems curriculum combines experiences in both agronomy and agricultural equipment and technology with the more comprehensive General Education curriculum for seamless transition for those interested in transfer to a four year program.  A great diversity of careers are available in the equipment and technology industries that support crop production and this degree pathway provides an excellent foundation of learning experiences for these careers.

These certificates will give students  knowledge in electricity and mechanized irrigation systems in order to effectively and safely service, repair, troubleshoot, and install center-pivot systems or to be able to perform welding and fabrication technical skills.
