Job Description
- A Summer internship with ServiTech provides knowledge and expertise in crop management over crops that are commonly grown in the Midwest. Interns work alongside experienced Agronomists, who will train interns on what to look for while checking local crops. Interns are expected to type reports on what they have found in the fields and communicate with the Agronomists that they are working with. This internship is very hands-on and a great learning experience as to what Agronomists are facing in today's agricultural environment.
ServiTech is currently in need of two internships spots. One is in NW Kansas and the other in SW Nebraska.
Qualifications or Skills Required
An agricultural background is preferred but not limited to.
Comfortably walking into locally grown commodity crops.
Being able to lift 50 lbs.
Valid Driver's License.
Able to type reports based off what was observed in the fields.
Communication with producers and ServiTech Agronomists.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is subject to change based off experience but will be market-competitive. It will be a monthly salary typically running from mid-May to mid-August. You will be provided a company 4-wheeler, pickup, and iPad, as well as any other necessary work items. Hours during the Summer are usually 40-50 hours, and interns are not required to work on weekends.
