Job Description
- Assist with installation and setup of center-pivot irrigation systems, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Perform scheduled maintenance including lubrication, tightening, hose/boot replacement, and component inspection.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues under supervision, using skills in circuitry, pivot drive systems, and control interfaces.
- Support field diagnostics using tools and test equipment learned through classroom and lab experience.
- Safely operate service vehicles, hand tools, and power equipment in outdoor settings.
- Communicate with customers courteously, explaining repairs and maintenance procedures when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate service reports and documentation for jobs completed.
Qualifications or Skills Required
- Recent graduate or current student in agricultural, irrigation tech, ag mechanics, or related technical programs.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated willingness to learn on the job.
- Comfortable performing physical work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work safely at heights.
Salary and Benefits
