Job Description
- The duties of the position include: Inpatient and outpatient triage, collecting of blood and tissue samples, X rays, dentals, surgery assist, anesthesia monitoring, large and small animal treatments, animal restraint and handling, cattle processing, medical records, and client education.
Qualifications or Skills Required
An eagerness to learn new skills, take initiative and accept responsibility, ability to remain calm under pressure, good communication skills, a strong appreciation of time management and multi-tasking, computer knowledge and ability to learn practice management software, ability to take and document accurate medical records. Excellent telephone and organizational skills are a must. The applicant will be required to pass national and state licensing exams and to have completed an accredited program to become a CVT.
Salary and Benefits
