Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and wound care
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and surgeries
- Prepare animals for surgery, including prepping surgical sites and sterilizing equipment
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
- Assist with radiography, laboratory testing, and other diagnostic procedures

Qualifications or Skills Required
Requirements:
*Proficiency in aseptic technique and veterinary critical care
*Experience working in a laboratory setting, performing tests and analyzing results
*Strong skills in animal handling, including dog restraint and cat handling techniques
*Ability to work independently as well as with other team members
*Maintain Veterinary Technician License by obtaining adequate continuing education
Salary and Benefits
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 39 per week
