"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are the leader."—John Quincy Adams

Allison Lofton of Lodgepole, NE, selected this quote in speaking of FFA adding, "This quote puts into perspective how being a member of this organization allows you to mature and learn at the same time. Being an example to the future of our organization is the best way to preserve it. FFA allowed me to come out of my shell and start being a leader. I feel like it's an obligation to be that leader and role model for others."

Similarly, Chris Keane of Chico, CA, shares, "My high school FFA program gave me the inspiration to choose a career path in Agriculture and Technology. This inspiration is what brought me to apply to NCTA. One of my favorite activities in FFA was attending local, state, and national FFA conventions and meeting people from other states around the U.S. The hands-on experiences I have gained while being here at NCTA have been valuable experiences that I will be able to take forward with me into my career in Agriculture and Technology."

In keeping with the theme of career discovery, Presley Brumbaugh of Sidney, IA shares, "FFA has shown me how much more there is out there for ag. Showing animals, or livestock judging, even the competitions for ag-related activities. You can't have fun if you don't learn what is fun. Being a part of FFA is what really showed me what kind of life and what I want for myself and my future."

Importantly, Jazlyn Nelson of Wahoo, NE, supports the broad scope of FFA benefits: "My favorite FFA memories are being able to meet new people through our co-chapter and continuing to bond with my friends through FFA. I was able to figure out what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go to school because of my advisor. I am forever thankful for her pushing me and continuing my knowledge of agriculture."

For Riley Robbins of San Saba, TX, "FFA gives you so many hands-on learning opportunities. That is one of the main reasons why I chose NCTA. They are such a hands-on learning school, plus I was able to continue my FFA journey through college. FFA has taught me so much about life, living, and how to make the best life for yourself."

And last but not least, Zoe Gorham of Broken Bow and Hooks, TX shares, "My favorite FFA memories all involve going to many of the major stock shows and rodeos. On those trips, friends, family, and advisors made dozens of lifelong memories for me."

Three others joining these six dynamic students in the NCTA Collegiate Chapter are Lexington Jones of Blair, McKenna Renner of North Platte, and Natalie Johnson of Veteran, WY. All of these students represent the mission of FFA—and NCTA—to support education and successful career outcomes while developing leaders.

NCTA congratulates and celebrates the FFA achievements of all involved in this organization, which is vital to our future success, growth, and impact.
