In celebration of Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) invites prospective students and families to take part in Discover Your Way to NCTA, a new virtual visit series focused on hands-on learning, workforce preparation, and real-world career pathways.
These interactive sessions give participants the opportunity to explore how NCTA’s industry-driven programs combine technical skill development, applied learning, and strong employer connections—while engaging directly with faculty, staff, and students.
“Students and families don’t just want brochures and websites—they want to meet the people who will mentor them,” said Jennifer McConville, associate dean. “These sessions help students understand what technical education looks like in practice and whether NCTA is the right fit for their goals.”
As a Career and Technical Education institution, NCTA emphasizes learning by doing. Discover Your Way to NCTA showcases how technical education prepares students for immediate employment, continued education, and long-term career advancement in agriculture and related industries.
