I began working at NCTA in 2012 as part of the Agribusiness Management faculty. In February 2015, I became the Assistant Dean for Finance and Operations, transitioning to my current position in June 2016.
Before joining NCTA, I was the Executive Administrator of Southwest Nebraska Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) and Southwest Weed Management. I have spent my career working in rural Nebraska, focusing on rural development.
Through NCTA, my professional focus has been on workforce development and Career and Technical Education (CTE), emphasizing their importance in addressing labor market needs, supporting rural communities, and promoting economic resilience in Nebraska. My experience allows me to provide students with practical insights, mentorship, and guidance tailored to real-world challenges.
My husband and I farm in southwest Nebraska.
