Job Description
- A custom applicator will ensure the spray or spreader equipment is working properly and apply fertilizer or chemical to the fields. We use CASE spray equipment with Raven monitors.
Qualifications or Skills Required
Job Requirements:
-High School diploma or GED
-Minimum one year agriculture spray experience preferred; employer will consider training if they have ag chemical knowledge
-State of Nebraska Commercial Applicator license, or one that can be transferred from another state
-Class A CDL required
-Mechanically apt with good math skills
-Ability to work well independently and work extended hours during peak seasons
Duties:
-Sprayer operation
-Spreading dry fertilizer
-Driving semi-truck
-Mixing ag-chemicals
-Routine Maintenance on equipment and vehicles
-Assisting in harvest or planting if needed
Salary and Benefits
$22+/hour, Performance based yearly bonuses, company pickup, 2 weeks paid vacation, dental and vision insurance
