Job Description
- A farm hand is manual labor who assists farmers. Their duties can include harvesting crops and performing general repair and maintenance work.
Qualifications or Skills Required
Job Requirements:
-High School diploma or GED
-State of Nebraska Commercial Applicator license, or one that can be transferred from another state preferred
-Class A CDL required
-Ability to work well independently and work extended hours during peak seasons
Duties:
-Assisting with harvest
-Operating tractors and other farm vehicles
-Working on repairs to machinery
-Delivering chemical, fertilizer, or seed to customers or applicators
-General labor around the farm
-Driving semi-truck
Salary and Benefits
$20-24/hour, Performance based yearly bonuses, company pickup, 2 weeks paid vacation, dental and vision insurance
