Position Title
Genetics Technician for Republican Valley Genetics, our bovine ET, AI, and IVF division.

Job Description
- Primary duties include the daily care of bovine donors and recipients (feeding, heat detection, shots for donor and recipient protocols), chute side assistance during transfers, flushes, and artificial insemination in house and on the farm, and general maintenance of pens.
Qualifications or Skills Required
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Need to have a good understanding of the cow's estrous cycle and a cattle handling background. RVAC will provide training.
Salary and Benefits
Starting wage based on experience ($15-$20 per hour). Benefits include allowances for insurance, cell phone, mileage, work attire, continuing education, paid time off plus holiday pay, retirement plan, licensing, and professional membership. Alma is located on the west end of Harlan County Reservoir which provides many activities for outdoor enthusiasts.
