Job Description
- Primary duties include assisting our veterinarians with cattle preconditioning and processing, fertility exams, artificial insemination, reproductive ultrasound and preg checking, freeze branding, cattle care, and chute operation.
Qualifications or Skills Required
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. A background with livestock handling and processing experience preferred but not required. RVAC will provide training.
Salary and Benefits
Starting wage based on experience ($15-$20 per hour). Benefits include allowances for insurance, cell phone, mileage, work attire, continuing education, paid time off plus holiday pay, retirement plan, licensing, and professional membership. Alma is located on the west end of Harlan County Reservoir which provides many activities for the outdoor enthusiast.
