Job Description
- Shovel Dot Ranch located in north central Nebraska is seeking a dedicated, long-term ranch hand to assist in our family-owned diversified stocker-backgrounding operation. Our operation feeds through the winter taking them to grass in the summer before marketing them in the fall. We also take in pairs through the spring, summer and fall months. Key roles include intensive health monitoring, receiving/vaccinating, checking water, monitoring grass, fencing, haying and other general ranch work.
Qualifications or Skills Required
General cattle knowledge, mechanical ability preferred but not required.
Salary and Benefits
Wages are negotiable. Housing with utilities provided, grocery stipend.
