Cross Diamond Cattle Company is looking for an experienced Ranch Hand to join their seed stock and commercial Red Angus operation in Bertrand, Nebraska. The Ranch Hand must be detail-orientated, have a strong work ethic and have the ability to handle cattle with respect and low stress.
Ranch Hand Compensation & Benefits:
• $40,000 - $48,000 per year, based on experience
• Paid housing

• ½ Beef
• Company Pick up
Ranch Hand Primary Job Duties:
• Working and sorting cattle regularly
• Health and wellness checks of cattle
• Rotating cattle on pasture and corn stalk grazing
• Feeding and watering
• Calving
• Spraying weeds around the yard, fence lines, feed lot and cut cedar trees
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Fence work
• Assist with bull sale
Ranch Hand schedule: Hours vary based on the season
• Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday 1/2 days
• Rotating weekends
The Ranch Hand must have an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR.
