Job Description
- Mixed animal practice 2 locations(Stockton and Hill City KS) Beef and small animal primarily, with equine, small ruminants and exotics also. Preventative medicine is key,with herd work-- Pregnancy exams, processing calves, BSE' s on bulls and Heifers. Nutritional consulting also. Applicant would do mainly large animal with the small animal mixed in also. Could grow in any direction you desire. Service a Livestock Market also in Hill City. 1/2 day off per week and some Saturday mornings will be required. Also a Certified EIA Laboratory.
Qualifications or Skills Required
Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
Cattle experience helpful, but we can train you. Processing skills( vaccinations etc.), operation of chutes also.
