- Do you have an interest in livestock or animal science? Are you ready to join a progressive veterinary team? Immediate and future opportunities available for full-time Veterinary Technicians or Assistants to join our mixed animal practice (75% bovine/25% companion animal & equine) in south central Nebraska. Alma is located on the west end of Harlan County Reservoir which provides many activities for outdoor enthusiasts. We have excellent facilities, equipment, and support staff. Duties include assisting our veterinarians with cattle preconditioning and processing, fertility exams, artificial insemination, embryo flushing and transfer, reproductive ultrasound, freeze branding, cattle care, chute operation, and general maintenance. Qualifications or Skills Required
A background with livestock handling and processing experience, or a licensed veterinary technician preferred but not required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. We will provide training for any individual who is a team player with a work ethic and enjoys learning.
Salary and Benefits
