The “Aggies from Curtis” are helping the Nebraska State Fair celebrate its 150th anniversary.
The annual 10-day event in Grand Island kicks off Friday (August 23) with opening ceremonies observing 150 years of showcasing Nebraska agriculture.
Students and volunteers from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture will be at the fair for numerous activities and contests which conclude on Labor Day.

Our Aggie students are in the last week of the academic year at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.
Enthusiasm is high for year-end programs and graduation events on May 1 and 2.
As we prepare for final exams starting Thursday, our veterinary technology students out on internships are saying goodbye to their employers and animal care settings.

CURTIS, Neb. - NCTA Aggie Rodeo teams competed April 5-6 at Brookings, South Dakota, in Great Plains Region competition of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.
Athletes from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis were led by Quentin Anderson of Pierce, Nebraska as he won the long round of calf roping with a time of 11.7 seconds.
“We competed well at Brookings last weekend and next return to the other side of South Dakota,” said Coach Taylor Rossenbach.

Aggies of the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture are learning by doing in Curtis and also in locations across the country, including Lincoln, Omaha, Texas, Wyoming, and, Kentucky.
Our campus in Curtis is filled with students who are concentrating their studies in our specialties of agriculture and veterinary technology.

Aggie students at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture were on Fall Break earlier this week.
Students were back on campus with classes resuming Wednesday.
Most were to travel home and recharge their batteries for a four-day weekend starting after classes ended last Friday.
The break for University of Nebraska students at five campuses marked the 8-week or half-way point in the fall semester.
