CURTIS, Neb. – The legacy of an industrious student who died prior to completing her second college degree will live on for two agriculture students next year at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

Joe Kirchner of, Blue Hill, Nebraska, and Melissa Ward of Thermopolis, Wyoming, were selected in May to receive the Chandra Castle Memorial Scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year at NCTA, said NCTA Dean Ron Rosati.

NCTA 16-hour Ag Certificate approved Friday, June 30, 2017

Curtis, Neb. – A new undergraduate certificate in agriculture has been approved by a state education commission for the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

The certificate which offers 16 hours of college credits was officially approved June 15 by Nebraska’s Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education at its meeting in Lincoln.

Curtis, Neb. – The two-year technical agriculture college at Curtis, Nebraska, has again gained national attention with a ranking by Forbes business magazine.

The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, which is part of the University of Nebraska system, was listed among 2017 Top 30 Two-Year Trade Schools.

The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture held its 2017 Alumni Association meeting in Broken Bow, Nebraska on Saturday, June 24. The event was a great success with more than 90 attendees reminiscing, sharing experiences, honoring alumni accomplishments, hearing about new developments at their alma mater and generally having a great time.
