Campus instructors greeted our summer session students on Monday as eight-week courses in veterinary technology, general education and agricultural sciences resumed here at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.
Many of the students on campus this time of year are veterinary technology students who take specialized courses during the summer session. Some are completing requirements to graduate in December while others plan to graduate in May, 2018 following more campus classes and a required 8-week internship.

CURTIS, Neb. - Swine, cattle, sheep, poultry, horses, grasslands and livestock judging had top billing for youth recently at a judging and animal science camp in Curtis.
Nearly 160 youth and adults attended the 12th annual Youth Animal Science Field Day on Thursday at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, said Frontier County Extension Educator Kathy Burr.

CURTIS, Neb. – Barrel racer Lexus Kelsch won the Great Plains Region’s title for the 2016-2017 season, and the Nebraska of College of Technical graduate is second in national collegiate standings.
Kelsch, of McLaughlin, S.D., is an NCTA Aggie athlete with the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association and is headed to the College National Finals Rodeo June 11-17 at Casper, Wyoming.
