CURTIS, Neb. - An Omaha student who wants to help dogs and companion animals stay healthy has been named an NCTA Aggie of the Month.
Rosa Jurado, first-year student at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, has been named Aggie of the Month for January.
The 2017 graduate of Benson High School studies Veterinary Technology Systems. She was nominated by Eric Reed, advisor for the NCTA Yearbook, of which Jurado is a co-editor.

CURTIS, Neb. – Cash Talamantez of Lisco, Nebraska, is an Aggie of the Month at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.
He was named Aggie of the Month for December, 2017, said NCTA Dean Ron Rosati.
Talamantez was selected by NCTA faculty, staff and peers in various leadership positions at the two-year agriculture college.
The 2015 graduate of Bridgeport High School plans a career in a western Nebraska agriculture industry after his graduation in May.

With the pillars of Ag Hall as the backdrop for the photo, the NCTA Student Senate represents Aggie student clubs, organizations and collegiate teams, and a campus population of 250 fulltime students.
