Animals are an important part of campus life at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis. They are an essential component of our hands-on experiences in veterinary technology and animal science. Animals are part of many of our teams and clubs. And animals can provide support and companionship for students away from home for the first time.

Some NCTA Aggie students bring their horses to Curtis for collegiate competition as members of the NCTA Ranch Horse or NCTA Rodeo Teams.

An ag educator knows what it takes to attract young minds into an agricultural career.

The newest college recruiter for the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis is Juliana Krotz Kroeger, who majored in agricultural education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The Kansas native whose family farmed along the Nebraska-Kansas border joined the NCTA staff in June as the assistant recruiting coordinator. She joins Emily Griffiths on the NCTA outreach team.

Planting seeds of success at NCTA Wednesday, August 1, 2018

August 1, 2018

By NCTA Dean Ron Rosati, Ph.D.

The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture is dedicated to offering the best educational experience possible to our Aggie students.

Essential to our goal of ensuring student success in their classes and collegiate experience is a regular assessment and review of NCTA’s academic quality.

In 2017, we started a five-year rotation of program review through NCTA’s five academic divisions starting with NCTA’s Agronomy and Agricultural Mechanics Division.
